GMB Care at Home Members

GMB Care at Home Members

Your trade union has been meeting with your employer who are wanting to introduce a new element to your job, called CM2000, which essentially can be a phone or a swipe tag that logs you in and out of a client’s home, and also store other information in relation to your job.

Your trade union fully appreciates that this is a change in how you currently work and we have already raised several concerns with East Ayrshire Council and we have also asked for several commitments going forward that will reassure our Members.

Even although this seems to be at an early stage,  East Ayrshire Council has identified some potential pilot areas which are: Dalmellington, Drongan and Shortlees.

We are trying to arrange to meet with our Members in these areas which possibly could be best achieved through your monthly team meeting.

Once we have more information on how East Ayrshire Council intends to proceed with this, we will be in touch with you.

Thank you for being a Member of GMB Scotland.
